Doing School

I've taken a lot of pictures of Sofia proudly doing her school work (that sounds so laborious and terrible), her lessons, her lernin of things for the past few months but somehow I haven't managed to post any yet. (I'll probably back fill these. I like to do that). So here is one from a math lesson she particularly enjoyed and where no one came out with their eyes poked out.

Toys for girls

For Sofia's 4th birthday, I gave her, what I thought was just the thing to get when you are a little girl turning four, a nice doll from Pottery Barn. Immediately after unwrapping it however, Sofia told me she was not fond of dolls and let me down by telling me that we could probably give it to her cousin Autumn or something. So ... this year, I decided to go with the motorized Erector set.
