"the baby brother" is almost here

In case you didn't know, "the baby brother" is going to be here any day now. When mami & dada first told me about the baby brother, I tried to look for him under mami's shirt but all I saw was a big belly. I didn't want them to feel bad about making up this whole baby brother thing, so I just pretended along with them like I had a baby in my belly too. Later on, the whole baby brother thing was kind of getting on my nerves. I didn't really let on, except when my mami asked me where I thought the baby should sleep, I thought it was a great opportunity to suggest that he sleep in the basement. After that, they didn't talk to me about him so much any more, so I guess that did the trick.

But now that I'm a big gurrlll, I think I'm getting used to the idea of having a little baby brother around. I even offered to share my blanket with him. I helped mami & daddy move all the baby stuff out of my room for him cuz I'm over that baby stuff now. And, today my parents where so busy working on the baby room, that I had to assemble the new baby swing myself. OK, maybe not the whole thing, but I did bring all the parts to my mami and put one of the legs together all by myself.
