Ready for Spring

We are so ready for Spring but Winter just keeps coming back, darn it! Sofia even got a nasty little sunburn on her face last Saturday hanging out in the back yard while we finished putting together our new play set that cost only a small fortune. But like I always say, "Anything for the children". I even forwent my last undeveloped area of the backyard that I had drawn out for a vegetable garden. Since I don't know the first thing about maintaining a vegetable garden and most of my indoor plants have dried up from neglect (even cacti), I was happy to give, this too, to the children.

There were many boxes and three new trees or pines or whatever those are.

Getting started

Teaching the girls the classic art of playing with boxes.

As usual, Dudi is of absolutely no help

... here you can see him lounging about as others do all the work.

When we finally got the structure up, it was so late and cold we didn't even get to try it out. So when the sun broke out for a few minutes the next day, although it was still a frigid 35 degrees, we ran outside and hooked up the swings. Even with cold hands, they approve.
