Sofia and her beloved teacher, Ms. Heather
Yesterday was Sofia's Spring Program at preschool. They had a long list of (short) songs that they performed. Whenever there is a performance that Sofia is involved in, I can't help but feel a bit apprehensive about what may happen. You never know if Sofia is going to sit there staring at the floor the whole time, or start acting out like an obnoxious drunken clown. I try to be a little nondescript about myself when I arrive so that other parents may not immediately be able to tell what child belongs to me just in case things don't go well.

How cute is that. Possibly cuter than I thought Sofia could ever be.
When we arrived, they were all set up on their chairs ready to perform, we quiety (nondescriptly) took a seat on the second row. When Sofia saw us, she lept out of her chair and yelled, "That's my Mommy and Daddy!" She was very excited. Much to my surprise, she participated fairly well. Much like the Christmas program, she didn't seem to necessarily know all the words to the songs, but she was by far the best, performing the most entertaining renditions of "You Are My Sunshine". There was a normal version, a sad version, an angry version, and I think an elderly version. I couldn't help but laugh out loud along with most of the other parents whom I could hear commenting about her hilarious performance. [Must remember to insert video clip here]

Here, I think everyone is doing some preschool song while Sofia appears to be doing the YMCA.
